The Greenville Police Department said a toddler was transported to the hospital after being hit by a car on Tuesday night.
Officers said a 13-month-old boy was standing in the middle of North Pleasantburg Drive near Mallory Street when he was hit by a vehicle around 8:45 p.m.
The child suffered a broken arm and leg, police said. He was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Police said the driver and family of the child are being questioned. No charges have been filed at this time but the investigation is ongoing.
