Boston, MA : Amsterdam crash kills Clifton Park woman on Friday, 23rd September 2016

A Clifton Park woman was killed in a Friday morning crash at an Amsterdam intersection, city police said.
Police said Joanna Maciariello, 64, of 7 Fern Lane died when she drove her pickup truck into the back of a tractor-trailer that had stopped at a red light on Route 30 (Market Street) near Division Street.
The 10:39 a.m. impact left her pinned in the cab of her pickup, and she had to be removed from the car by city firefighters.
She was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in the city, where an autopsy will be performed, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The tractor-trailer was driven by Christopher Baker, 47, of Massachusetts.
