Antlers, OK : One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash at Pushmataha County On Saturday, July 9th, 2016

One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in southeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Tina L. Moore of Shawnee was killed in Saturday’s accident in Pushmataha County.

Troopers say the crash occurred at 7:13 p.m. on a county road about 15 miles east of Rattan. The patrol says the victim’s vehicle was southbound when it ran off the roadway to the left and traveled about 160 feet before it

struck a tree. Troopers say the victim was pinned in the wreckage for about one hour and died at the scene due to massive injuries.

A report released by the patrol says that inattention was the cause of the crash and indicates the driver may have been sleepy. Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
