Ewing,IL : Ewing boy seriously hurt in dirt bike crash on May,Thursday 31st 2018

A 12-year-old Ewing boy was seriously injured in a dirt bike crash at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Knox County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the boy, Denton V. Daggs, was driving a 2014 Honda CRF 125 dirt bike west on Trail Creek Avenue, about seven miles south of Knox City, when he lost control at a field entrance, and the bike overturned.

Denton was taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment of serious injuries.

The Knox County Sheriff's Department and Knox County first responders assisted at the crash scene.
