Topeka, KS : One person was killed and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Monday, 7th May 2018

One person was killed and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Finney County in southwest Kansas, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 4:47 p.m. at the intersection of US-50 highway and VFW Road in Garden City.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1995 Ford F350 pickup truck that was pulling a trailer was southbound on VFW Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at US-50 highway. A 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on US-50 and collided with the passenger side of the Ford pickup.
