INMAN, SC : 85-year-old dies after crashing ATV while clearing land in Inman on Monday, 16th September 2024

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said an 85-year-old has passed away after crashing his ATV in Inman on Monday.

According to the coroner, the man was clearing land in a wooded area on Turpin Road when his four by four ATV, which was towing wood behind, overturned in a ditch.

Officials said the overturned ATV landed on top of the man and pinned him underneath, leading to his death.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Esley Carroll Condrey.
