New York,NY : Van crash in Queens leaves 2 in critical condition on July, Saturday 29th 2017

An out-of-control van slammed into two pedestrians and a car in Queens Saturday — injuring six people, two critically — before barreling into a pond, police said.

“Hallelujah!! Praise Jesus!” exclaimed the driver, who was dressed in a flowing white religious robe, after he emerged from the Ford Econoline van, witnesses said.

The bizarre scene unfolded about 7:30 p.m. when the van suddenly accelerated on Brookville Blvd. in Rosedale and plowed into two teens, witnesses and officials said.

“It tossed them in the air. Must have been about eight to 10 feet,” said witness Sean Hines, 46. “The man fell in the back of the van. The female fell in front of the van. The van ran over the girl. Just ran over her.”
