INDIANAPOLIS, IN : 31-year-old woman in go-kart killed in hit-and-run crash on Indy's far east side on Monday, 27h May 2024

A 31-year-old woman is dead after a crash on the far east side of Indianapolis Monday night.

Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Fenton Avenue, near East 16th Street and North Franklin Road, around 10 p.m. May 27 on a report of a crash.

An IMPD spokesperson said an SUV and a go-kart were involved in the crash. When officers arrived, the woman and a man, who were in the go-kart, were found at the scene, but the driver of the SUV was not there.
