A Virginia man has suffered serious injuries as a result of an industrial accident at Mountaire in Millsboro.

Delaware State Police said about 2:24 p.m., Feb. 16, a 58-year-old man of Melfa, Va., was helping with the renovation of a building on the Mountaire complex. The man was working on a grated walkway, removing old grates and replacing them with new ones, about 20 feet in the air when he fell and landed on the ground below, sustaining serious injuries.

Millsboro EMS took the man to Beebe Healthcare, where he is listed in stable condition.
