Sacramento, CA : Driver safe after crash on Friday, September 23rd 2017

The driver of this Jeep was uninjured Friday when he lost control of his vehicle around 6 p.m. after turning left onto the Perkins Street overpass from the southbound Highway 101 off-ramp. It landed on its side behind Denny’s restaurant, and a passer-by opened one of the doors so the driver could get out on his own.

The Ukiah Police Department, Ukiah Valley Fire Authority and VeriHealth ambulance also responded.

The roads were slick Friday evening after brief rain showers in Ukiah.
