JACKSONVILLE, FL : Pedestrian hit killed by school bus on Mayport Road on Friday, 26th January 2024

A pedestrian in his 60s was hit and killed by a school bus while crossing Mayport Road on Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO said the pedestrian was crossing the road, from east to west, when a school bus driver struck him on the southbound lane of Mayport Road.
