MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX : Authorities identify McLennan County man killed while operating forklift on Tuesday, 11th June 2024

Authorities have identified the McLennan County man who died while operating a forklift at Mitchell Industrial Tire Co.

The McLennan County Sheriff’s Office says the man was identified as 39-year-old William Thornton.

On June 6, Thornton was driving a forklift when he hit a rack of tires, the MCSO says.

When people arrived to help Thornton, he was already dead, according to the MCSO.
