17-year-old girl killed in rollover crash on Weaver Road

A 17-year old girl is dead after the driver of the car in which she was a passenger lost control, causing a rollover, Memphis police said.

The green Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling north on Weaver Road and landed atop a light pole, said Maj. Kedzie White.

The driver was transported to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis in critical condition. The victim in the crash has not been identified.
