Two hurt seriously in Shamokin Township crash

A driver and a passenger suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash in Shamokin Township at 2:50 p.m. Saturday.

State police at Stonington said a second passenger, Anthony J. Moser, 19, of Mount Carmel, suffered a minor injury. Police did not identify the 17-year-old male driver or the other passenger, a 14-year-old boy. They also were from Mount Carmel.

Police said they were all transported to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, by Area Services ambulance. The hospital does not release patient information without a name.
