Sarasota County , FL : Three drivers minorly injured after Four Vehicles hit-and-run crash on Tuesday afternoon ,May 19th 2015

A hit-and-run crash involving four vehicles Tuesday afternoon in Sarasota County left three drivers with minor injuries, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The report says a 2014 Nissan NV200 driven by a 76-year-old Rotonda West man was driving behind a 2007 Cadillac DTS driven by a 58-year old North Port woman westbound on U.S. 41 approaching De Leon Drive shortly after 4:30 p.m.

Weather conditions caused both vehicles to slow when a car that did not slow crashed into the back of the Nissan, forcing it into the rear of the Cadillac,. which went across the grassy median and into oncoming traffic, where it collided with a 2006 Kia Optima driven by a 48-year-old Venice woman

The three drivers were all reported to have minor injuries. Neither the hit-and-run driver nor car was identified in any way.
