A man died after his vehicle left the road and hit a utility pole Wednesday in the 2800 block of Adams Center Road in New Haven. New Haven Police provided these details about the accident reported at 5:29 p.m.: When emergency workers arrived, they found the vehicle in a cornfield near a utility pole that had been snapped off. Witnesses were giving CPR to the man, who still was in the car. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Several witnesses reported that the vehicle had been traveling south on Adams Center when it crossed the center line, hit the utility pole and went into the cornfield. The driver may have experienced a medical problem before the accident, police said. Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Adams Center was closed to traffic between Indiana 930 and Moeller Road while Indiana Michigan Power repaired the utility pole. Source : Man dead after crash in New Haven
