Indianapolis ,IN :Indiana State Police release name of boy killed in Indianapolis bus crash On Wednesday ,July 29th 2015

Indiana State Police have released the name of a 6-year-old boy who was killed when a church bus overturned near Indianapolis.

Police said Wednesday that Jacob Williams of Gary was killed in Tuesday's crash along Interstate 70 that also injured 11 other people on the bus, including 53-year-old driver Charles Goodman of Gary. Police say Goodman had a suspended license.

Police also say that because the bus was headed out of state to Ohio, it was subject to U.S. Department of Transportation regulations but lacked a required registration number with the federal agency.

Police say the bus overturned about 20 miles east of Indianapolis when it overturned. They say Williams was killed and seven people were injured, but area hospitals report receiving 11 patients from the crash.
