Granby, MO : Monett man injured in wreck in Newton County on Sunday, February 19, 2017

A Monett man was injured Sunday in a wreck at 9:35 p.m. on Highway 60 at Turtle Drive, four miles east of Granby in Newton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jordan Hickerson, 21, of Monett, was driving a 2000 Dodge Dakota eastbound when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Hickerson suffered minor injuries and was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Neosho.

He was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle suffered moderate damage.
