York, NE : One injured in accident on Tuesday, May 30, 2017

One person was transported to York General Hospital shortly before 11 a.m., after he lost control of his pickup near the intersection of County Roads M and 16.

Witnesses at the scene said they believed the accident was caused by some sort of mechanical failure with the vehicle, although that was not confirmed by the York County Sheriff’s Department who responded to the scene.

The driver of the pickup, who was not immediately identified, was taken by ambulance, with injuries that were not considered to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the situation.
