JOHNS ISLAND, SC : One dead in single-vehicle crash on Johns Island on Wednesday, 30th May 2018

A fatal accident shut down one lane of Main Road on Johns Island Wednesday morning.
Deputies responded to a single-car collision on Main Road neat Patton Avenue around 8:30 a.m., according to Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman Roger Antonio.
The driver of the vehicle drove off the road into a wooded area and died on-scene, Antonio said.
The road has now reopened.
