Big Rig Crash Closes Road in Wayne County
Officials say intense fog and wet roads are to blame for a crash that chased a family out of their home in Wayne County.
A rig hauling propane crashed on Route 6 around 9:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they say they found propane leaking from the truck and wires down.
Authorities told one family nearby to leave the area as a precaution.
The road was reopened Tuesday morning after two trucks pumped out the propane and crews cleaned up.
The driver was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.
