HANOVER COUNTY, VA : 1 dead, 2 injured following head-on crash in Hanover County on Saturday, 30th January 2021

Officials say one person is dead and two others seriously injured after a head-on crash in Hanover County Saturday night.

According to the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Jane Vaughan, 27, was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Mechanicsville Turnpike around 11 p.m. when she crashed into another vehicle.

Vaughn was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, along with the passenger in the second vehicle were taken to a hospital with serious injuires.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.
