CEDAR FALLS, IA : 1 killed in 2-vehicle crash in Cedar Falls on Saturday, 5th November 2016

Police say one person has died in a two-vehicle crash in Cedar Falls.

Cedar Falls Police say in a news release that the crash was reported around 12:05 a.m. Saturday at the 1st Ave. bridge near Main St. Investigators say both vehicles were traveling west when the crash occurred. Police have not released any other details of the crash or the name of the person killed.

Police say several others were injured in the crash. Their names and medical conditions also have not been released.

The crash forced the closure of the bridge for several hours while the cause of the crash was investigated.
