BORING, OR : Fatal crash closes stretch of Highway 26 in Boring on Friday, 29th January 2021
Highway 26 reopened at the Multnomah and Clackamas County line in Boring after two cars crashed early Friday morning. One person died in the crash, Oregon State Police confirmed.
The first 911 call came in at 6 a.m. The crash happened on Southeast Stone Road, in the town of Boring.
Investigators said the driver of a Ford F250 pickup was heading westbound at a high rate of speed when the truck hit the back of a GMC Sierra.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The pickup truck driver was injured in the crash.
