Kent, OH : Three Kent State students injured after a two-car accident on Loop Road near the WKSU radio station on Wednesday, April 8, 2015
Four people were involved in an evening car crash on the Kent State University campus Wednesday evening.
It happened around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Loop Road and Summit Street.
According to the Ravenna Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a young woman driving in a sedan crossed the center line, striking a Jeep Wrangler occupied by three men. Two of the Jeep passengers were ejected.
Kent State spokesman Eric Mansfield confirms that all four involved are Kent State students.
The two ejected passengers and the driver of the sedan were taken to nearby hospitals. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. The third Jeep passenger refused treatment at the scene.
OSHP says that the female driver told troopers that she had drugs and alcohol in her system.
The crash is under investigation by the Ravenna Patrol Post.
