Waukesha, WI : One killed when SUV hits tree in Town of Waukesha on Wednesday night, August 13, 2014

One person was killed Wednesday night when an SUV crashed into a tree in the Town of Waukesha. The crash occurred at 10:42 p.m. on River Road, and Waukesha County Sheriff's deputies and the Town of Waukesha firefighters were called to the scene, where they found the SUV engulfed in flames, according to a department news release. Authorities said the driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has not been identified.
