Munster, IN : A 36-year-old man was killed in a crash on Saturday, December, 9th 2017

A 36-year-old man was killed in a crash early Saturday in Gary, according to the Lake County coroner's office.

David Brock, whose address is unknown, was pronounced dead at 3:20 a.m. at U.S. 12 and County Line Road. The manner of death was classified as an accident as a result of blunt force trauma, the coroner's release states.

At 2:40 a.m., Gary police had responded to a pedestrian being struck and killed by a train at that location.
