Boulder,CO : Boulder County Coroner IDs Denver man killed in crash near Lyons on July, Thursday 13th 2017

The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a single-vehicle crash northwest of Lyons on Thursday as Gilbert Cabral Jr. of Denver.

The coroner's office stated in a news release that it has conducted an autopsy on Cabral, 69, and the cause and manner of his death are pending further investigation.

Cabral died at a Denver hospital after rolling the 2001 International dump truck he was driving down a 150-foot ravine on U.S. 36 about five miles northwest of Lyons.

The Colorado State Patrol stated that Cabral was not wearing a seatbelt, and the agency was looking at speed as factoring into the crash.
