Authorities suspect alcohol was involved in crashes that sent cars plunging down Southern California hillsides, killing two people.
San Diego police say a Nissan Titan truck went out of control, rolled down a hill and into a backyard shortly at 12:13 a.m. Sunday.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was thrown from the truck and died at the scene. Three passengers suffered unknown injuries.
Police say nobody wore a seatbelt.
