Henrico County, VA : Car hits Richmond school bus, bursts into flames in Va. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Police in Henrico County say a car caught fire after it collided with a Richmond school bus carrying special needs students.

Media outlets report the bus was stopped when it was struck from behind Wednesday, and part of the car went under the bus and caught fire.

Authorities said the drivers of the car and bus were taken to a hospital for treatment. Richmond Public Schools spokeswoman Cletisha Lovelace says two of the four students on the bus complained of back or neck pain.

The bus was carrying students from the Sarah Dooley Center for Autism.

No charges were immediately filed. The accident remains under investigation.
