EAST ALTON, IL : Two vehicles crash in head-on collision in East Alton on Wednesday, 12th February, 2020

On person was taken to an area hospital Wednesday morning following a collision in East Alton on Berkshire Boulevard and Wood River Avenue.
The East Alton Fire Department, East Alton Police and Alton Memorial Ambulance all responded to the crash scene after recieving a call around 9:45 a.m. East Alton Police Sgt. Michael McCormick said one of the drivers was taken to an area hospital for a leg injury and the other driver declined medical attention.
No further information was available Wednesday afternoon.
