Fort Collins, CO : 54-year-old David Armstrong died in fatal motorcycle wreck near Berthoud on Saturday evening, May 21, 2016

Authorities have identified the man who died in a Saturday evening motorcycle wreck near Berthoud as 54-year-old David Armstrong of Penrose.

First responders were called to the area of South First Street and East Larimer County Road 6C about 8:45 p.m. Saturday on report of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

CSP said a blue 2016 Yamaha motorcycle was found on the scene, and the man driving it had been observed flying through the air during the crash.
