Greer ,SC : 20-year-old Robert Elijah Anderson killed after Motocycle deadly collision along Highway 14 on Thursday night ,April 9 2015

Highway 14 near Interstate 85 was blocked on Thursday night after a deadly collision involving a motorcycle.

The crash was reported just before 10 p.m.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the driver of a 2000 Yamaha motorcycle was heading south on Highway 14, when he went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.

The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown off the bike and died at the scene.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 20-year-old Robert Elijah Anderson of Hamilton Avenue. Anderson's cause of death was determined to be blunt force head trauma.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. The Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
