Redwood Falls, MN : 80-year-old Shakopee woman killed, Chaska woman injured in crash in Redwood County on Monday, June 13, 2016

An 80-year-old Shakopee woman was killed just before 5 p.m. Monday when the car she was driving pulled on to a road in front of a semitrailer truck in Redwood County, north of Belview, according to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office.

Yvonne Boegeman was eastbound on County Road 9 when her car pulled onto County Road 7 and was struck by the truck on the driver’s side door. A passenger in the Boegeman vehicle, LeAnn Dold, of Chaska, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. A nursing supervisor at North Memorial said she was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon.

Dold is the daughter of Boegeman, accordiong to several postings from friends on social media sites.
The driver of the semitrailer, Tim Bohlsen, 58, of Clara City, Minn., was not injured.
