Tulsa, OK : Owasso police officer recovering after multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday, 25th April 2018

An Owasso police officer is recovering after being involved in a multiple vehicle collision reportedly caused by a medical episode, the Owasso Police Department announced Wednesday.

The department's Facebook page indicated that the unnamed officer was involved in what is described as a "serious on-duty traffic collision" near the 9700 block of North 129th East Avenue.

The officer's patrol vehicle reportedly rear-ended another vehicle, leading in injuries to occupants of both vehicles, police said.
