Natick, MA :Police ID man hit, killed by truck on Pike on Tuesday, July 7th 2015

A Framingham man is dead Tuesday after being hit by a tractor trailer on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Natick, according to State Police.The crash happened at about 3:10 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Pike near the Route 30 exit. The victim was identified by State Police as Ramuel Raagas, 40, of Framingham. It was not clear why he was in the roadway.State police said the truck driver, a 49-year-old Waterbury, Connecticut man, and the trucking company, Bozzutos Inc. of Cheshire, Connecticut, are cooperating with the investigation.The right-hand lane of the turnpike was closed for a time as police investigated the accident, but all travel lanes have since reopened.
