Milwaukee, WI : One person injured in two crashes involving six vehicles on 35th St. bridge on Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2016

A three-vehicle crash on the 35th St. bridge led to a second three-vehicle crash that injured one person Wednesday afternoon, according to Milwaukee police.

The crashes were reported shortly after 4 p.m. in the 100 block of S. 35th St., according to police, who said the second crash resulted from a driver attempting to avoid the first crash.

A woman involved in the second crash was ejected from a vehicle was taken to a hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition, according to police.
