Leesburg, VA : A Chantilly man died today after a two-vehicle crash on Monday, June 19, 2017

A Chantilly man died today after a two-vehicle crash on Old Ox Road near Pebble Run Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The victim, Khalil Noorestani, 70, was traveling northbound in a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta on Old Ox Road around 12:45 p.m. Monday when it appears he attempted to make a U-turn along the roadway, the LCSO reported. The victim pulled in front of a 2015 Mack truck that broadsided the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle. Noorestani lost his life at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team.
