Youngsville, LA : Man dies after being struck by car trying to cross US 90 in St. Martin Parish on Sunday night, December 28, 2014

A 48-year-old man was struck and killed after attempting to walk across US 90.

State Police have identified the man as Brian Bearden of Youngsville, LA. He was struck by 30-year-old Allen Milligan of Lafayette. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Milligan was not injured and authorities say he was not impaired.
