Georgetown, DE : Driver left pedestrian to die after crash in the west lane of Zoar Road west of Fieldwood Drive on Monday, 23rd December, 2019 48 sec ago

A 44-year-old Millsboro woman died after a hit and run crash Monday night in Georgetown, according to Delaware State Police.

The woman was standing in the west lane of Zoar Road west of Fieldwood Drive around 8:10 p.m. when a vehicle struck her, police said. Police do not know where the driver went.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police said she was dressed in dark clothing and that there are no street lights where the crash occurred.
