Allentown, PA : Man killed in Schuylkill County crash on February, Sunday 25th 2018
A 27-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon after he lost control while driving in Schuylkill County, went down an embankment and hit a concrete barrier to Interstate 81, state police at Schuylkill Haven said.
Adam G. Ould, of Pottsville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:17 p.m. crash off Route 901 in Foster Township, state police said.
Troopers said Ould was driving north on Route 901 when, for unknown reasons, he crossed into the southbound lanes, struck a guard rail and went down an embankment. He continued down the embankment, striking another guard rail and concrete barrier to I-81, police said.
His vehicle ended up on its roof on the right lane of I-81, police said. Ould, who was not wearing a seat belt, was died at the scene, police said.
The crash closed I-81 for three hours, police said.
