Pocatello, ID : Commercial vehicle crashes on Highway 30 in Caribou County on Sunday, February 19th 2017

Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle property damage crash on U.S. Highway 30 near Fish Creek Summit in Caribou County on Sunday about 10:29 a.m.

The accident happened when Brent Elison, 64, of Blackfoot, was driving east in a 2017 Freightliner commercial vehicle pulling a single trailer on Highway 30.

He lost control of the vehicle at the bottom of a hill. Then Elison's vehicle slid off the westbound shoulder and jackknifed, coming to rest in the westbound lanes of Highway 30. Elison was not injured.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
