Belton,SC : One person was killed in a crash in Anderson County on may, sunday 14th 2017

Troopers have confirmed one person was killed in a crash in Anderson County early Sunday morning.

According to troopers, the victim ran off the right side of Brown Road near Highway 29 just after 1:30 a.m., struck a concrete bridge then a tree. The victim was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time.

No other vehicles were involved.

The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 21-year-old Austin Rackley.

Coroner Josh Shore said Rackley suffered a neck fracture and blunt force trauma after being thrown into the passenger seat.

Alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to Shore.
