One person was injured Tuesday morning in a three-vehicle crash on state Highway 500, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers said a black 2015 Toyota Camry and gray 2005 Nissan Rogue were stopped westbound on the highway near Stapleton Road when a silver 2006 Ford F150 pickup struck the back of the Rogue, pushing it into the Camry at about 6:55 a.m.

The driver of the Camry, 38-year-old Andre L. Washington of Vancouver, was injured and transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, according to WSP. A hospital spokeswoman said it appears Washington was treated and released

Brandon Ruhl, 24, of Vancouver, who was driving the pickup, and Kayla L. Schoorl, 22, of Salem, who was driving the Rogue, were uninjured.

Ruhl was cited for following too close, according to WSP.

All of the vehicles were towed from the scene.
