BRANDON, FL : Seffner man, 56, dies in single-car crash on Saturday, 24th November 2018

A driver died early Sunday morning after he had an apparent medical episode and drove off the road, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Rickey Charles, 56, of Seffner, was driving a 2008 Honda Accord northbound on Kingsway Avenue, deputies reported. About 6:15 a.m., Charles went off the right shoulder of the road near Palm Avenue.

He crossed the avenue and crashed into a chain link fence. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue took him to Brandon Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
