GARDENDALE, AL : 17-year-old Gardendale juvenile killed in Shelby County ATV crash on Saturday, 25th November 2023

An ATV crash that occurred at 1:20 a.m. Saturday morning has claimed the life of a 17-year-old Gardendale juvenile.

Officials say that the 17-year-old was traveling on Shelby County 62, approximately three miles east of Harpersville in Shelby County, when the ATV left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. The juvenile was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say that the juvenile was not wearing their seatbelt at the time.
