El Rio ,CA : 29- Years old Maria Perez Bravo killed after traffic collision at south of Los Angeles Avenue on Thursday ,May 14th 2015

Authorities Monday identified a 29-year-old woman killed in an El Rio crash last week.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred about 4:25 p.m. on Vineyard Avenue south of Los Angeles Avenue.

Maria Perez Bravo, of Santa Paula, was driving south on Vineyard Avenue in the left lane, when, for unknown reasons, she drifted over the double-yellow lines and into northbound traffic, hitting an 85-year-old Fillmore woman's vehicle, officials said.

Emergency medical personnel pronounced Perez Bravo dead at the scene. The Fillmore woman was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with a broken sternum, the CHP reported.

Although the crash remained under investigation, Perez Bravo may have been drinking alcohol, the CHP reported.
