MARION TOWNSHIP, OH : Two injured in traffic crash in Marion Township on Thursday,12th April 2018
An early-morning traffic accident Thursday in Marion Township sent two people to a Lima hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to Sgt. Alec Coil of the Lima post of the Oho State Highway Patrol, Steven Steward, 28, of rural Elida, was northbound on Redd Road in a 2007 Ford Edge at approximately 5:45 a.m. Thursday when he failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 30.
Steward pulled into the intersection and was struck by a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Jason Lindeman, 44, of Delphos. Lindeman was treated at the scene for minor injuries, while Seward and a passenger, 29-year-old Megan Steward, also of Elida, were transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s for treatment.
The state patrol was assisted at the scene by American Township Fire Department and EMS Service and the Knippen and Delpha Wrecker Services.
