KEMPER COUNTY, MS : 3 people killed in Kemper County wreck on U.S. Highway 45 North just south of Scooba on Wednesday, 5th June 2019

Three people were killed and several more were injured when four vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 45 North just south of Scooba Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The crash occurred not far from where eight people were killed in a collision on Monday.Kemper County Sheriff James Moore said an empty school bus and three other vehicles were involved in the crash, but it was too soon to determine a cause.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
