Flowood, MS : Pearl woman charged in connection with crash on Old Brandon Road on Saturday, January 10, 2015

A Pearl woman was behind bars Saturday after an early morning wreck.
Flowood police said they received a call about a wreck at 5:30 a.m. on Old Brandon Road near the levee. They found a car that had left the roadway and flipped several times.

Kodie Mann, 30, was identified as the driver. She is charged with DUI mayhem in connection with the crash.

Police said the vehicle’s passenger, 29-year-old Danielle Treadway, had to be cut out of the car. She was at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the intensive care unit Saturday night. Doctors said they expect her to survive her injuries.

Mann was taken to River Regions Hospital with minor injuries. She was arrested after her release. A bond for Mann is expected to be set Sunday.
